Question 1

What does SETRIX Logistics do?

Accepted Answer

We are a Dubai free zone shipping agency handling inbound and outbound customs clearance, shipping agency services, documentation, free zone facilitation, freight forwarding support, and port-to-door transportation across the UAE.

Question 2

Which ports and free zones do you cover?

Accepted Answer

We operate across the key UAE hubs, including Jebel Ali Port, Port Rashid, Dubai South & Al Maktoum (DWC), Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA), and Mina Khalid in Sharjah.

Question 3

What affects how long clearance takes?

Accepted Answer

The port, the cargo type, whether the goods are inspected, and above all whether the documentation is complete and consistent. Clearance times are set by Dubai Customs and the port operators rather than by us, so we do not publish estimates. Once we have seen your documents we will tell you what to expect for your specific shipment.

Question 4

What documents do I need to get started?

Accepted Answer

At minimum we need the bill of lading or airway bill, commercial invoice, and packing list. Depending on the cargo, a certificate of origin or specific permits may also be required — we tell you immediately if anything is missing.

Question 5

Do you handle both imports and exports?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We manage inbound (import) and outbound (export) customs clearance under one desk, so you have a single point of contact in both directions.

Question 6

Can you also arrange transportation?

Accepted Answer

Yes — our in-house transportation and truck arrangement service carries cargo from the port directly to your warehouse or final destination anywhere in the UAE, so clearance and delivery are handled by one team.

Question 7

How do I get a quote?

Accepted Answer

Send us your shipment details through the contact form, or email us directly. We reply with an itemised quote covering duties, fees, and documentation, with each element listed separately so you can see exactly what you are agreeing to.

Question 8

Do you work with specific industries only?

Accepted Answer

No — we support a wide range of sectors including retail & e-commerce, building materials, automotive, healthcare & pharmaceuticals, FMCG, electronics, and industrial machinery.
